Details:
Dim. Not much to write home about at the moment. Just visible in 10x50s. Created from a sometimes broken series of images captured between 0539 and 0555. The exposure length was 2s and the instrument used a Canon f1.8 lens with an uncooled Starlight Xpress Lodestar autoguider. The lens was gaffer taped to a normal undriven tripod and adjusted by hand occasionally to keep the comet within the field of view. Pixel size 35" per pixel. What it doesnt show you is me getting a shoe full of icy water, nor forgetting to press "Save" when I first started imaging at 0525.
