Details:
At 3am, a Pentax K-x DSLR fitted with a 300mm lens was mounted on a Merlin Mount and 30s images of Comet Lovejoy (in Cancer) were captured at ISO 12800. 5 images were stacked in Deep Sky Stacker to produce the final image. It was an easy object in 10 x 50 binoculars
