At 6:48 P.M. EST.,only an hour after setting up my camera in Brooksville Florida facing Southwest I was able to catch the GOCE satellite on it's last orbit. It was bright enough to see clearly even with the moon high in the sky. I was hoping to catch it as it re entered the atmosphere but luck was not on my side tonight. Canon 7D ISO 1600 f3.5 at 30 sec. Canon 10-22mm lens set at 10mm.
