Just before the weather forecast's predicted strong gale appeared, there were a few smaller gaps in the cloud cover - the gaps allowed us to get some glimpses of the afternoon's bright auroras

Aurora borealis is one of the most beautiful spectacles mother nature can show us. Ill be visiting Norway in december (Bodo on 27, 28, Narvik on 29, 30, Finnsnes on 31 and Tromso from January 1 to 4) and hopefully Ill have the chance to see these lights live!
Any advice, please?

Amosmiles, hire a car, look on this website for good spots in Tromso (Kvoyola is great) wrap up warm, take soup and chocolate and watch for the dull green glow that will explode into colour -and be patient
