Details:
Comet Lovejoy maintains near naked eye visibility at predawn as it passes overhead. This negative image was staked from 12x30s, iso 6400, 180mm @ f/2.8 to better depict the length of the comet's very faint tail. Field of view is 5x7 degrees. Viewed from nearly perfect dark skies. Tail ~3.5 degrees.
