Details:
For the second time this year, we're in Sommarøy just an hour outside Tromsø. After a cloudy day, the sky cleared early in the evening. The Aurora appeared just after 9:00 pm and lasted until 2:00 am. In between we had a small break to get warm again and check the magnetometers. We are visiting from The Netherlands, where the Aurora is hardly visible and definitely not a beautiful a here, high in the Arctic Circle. Let's hope we get another show tonight or tomorrow. All picture are taken with a Canon EOS 6D, 16-35mm, ISO 800-1600, F2.8, exposure 8,0 - 13,0 sec.
