Details:
Well, along with the cloudless skies, Queensland turned on the seeing and gifted me with some nice moments of a steady atmosphere, where the solar granulation could easily be seen in scattered patches across the solar disc as I recorded a series of 3000 frame AVI’s. The local air temperature was a cool 30 ºC compared to the somewhat more blistering 5,800 K of the Sun's surface. This is the best of the series and shows some wonderful detail in the remarkably larger AR 1890 complex. Takahashi Mewlon 180 F12 Tak Extender x1.6 ZWO ASI120MM CCD camera Captured using Firecapture. Aligned and stacked in AutoStakkert2 Wavelets applied in Registax. Finishing in CS6. Cheers Dennis
