Details:
Another successful Nightfall at the Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Resort in Borrego Springs, California's only International Dark Sky Community. With the hotel outdoor lighting muted and all turned to red (to protect night vision), visitors enjoyed an outdoor Sky Tour at the Resort's amphitheater, and telescopes ranged from 3 inches in diameter to a 24-inch behemoth... and all who peered through them were amazed by the views. Photo details: Nikon D700 with 14-24mm lens, f/2.8, 10-15 seconds at ISO 2500-3200.
