Details:
Casual Sunday morning H alpha observing a couple of hours ago revealed sudden surge in brightness around what appeared to be AR 1884, 2-3 times brighter than surrounding chromoshphere, dying away again over the next 30 minutes. Camera time slow by 10 mins; after correcting appears to coincide with M1 Flare @ 22:21 UT. LS35Tha, EOS 50D+Zeiss 35mm 1.4 handheld through eyepiece.
