Details:
The second picture is my first from northern lights with a Zeiss 50mm F/2. It's clear I need a shorter exposure with that lens - stars are stripes now. The first picture is taking on the island Gimsøy on the Lofoten Islands. In the centre of that island is a nature reserve and it is one of the few places on Lofoten which deliver aurora pictures with almost no artificial lights and which you can reach by car. Its here where local politicians would like to build a airport. Can you imagine?
