These are two images from a video. I was using my Canon PowerShot SX120IS in video mode at 40X to see if I could capture Iridium 95 passing in front of the Moon. I recently viewed the video to look for a little black dot when I saw this light show up on the edge of the moon (Left image). It lasted about four seconds and appeared to move towards the limb. About forty seconds later, a red light shows up (Right image). It too lasts about four seconds. Any ideas?

Hi,
Just wondering if youve happened to notice the moon flipping almost upside down recently? My wife and I are baffled. We used Mare Crisium as a marker. On the last two full moons Crisium was visible at about the 2 Oclock position around 10EST and by 4AM EST we saw Crisium in the 5 Oclock position. From our studies, it is apparent that the moon wobbles but this is much more than a wobble which we saw.
