October 25, 2013, 9h25-28 U.T. AR1875 (a 2-picture mosaic) and AR1877. North is up. 210 mm Newton telescope with uncoated primary mirror, Baader K-line filter, x5 Barlow lens (equivalent focal length 6.4 m), IDS 3240 camera (0"16/pixel). Note the distorted granulation in the vicinity of big sunspots.

Really nice granulation. Sounds like a fine solar. Will see how well I can do monday with 8 Baader full aperture on C-8.
