Details:
Following the information provided by Ernesto Guido, Nick Howes & Martino Nicolini on the MPML list, I have prepared a few sky charts with the position of the comet and waited to get higher, above a dense wave of fog. Eventually, after searching a few minutes with the shot-and-get-lucky method, I found the dim round comet: in the images it looked exactly like comet Holmes back in 2007. A nice remember...
To bad it was not visible at the eyepiece due to the morning light..
TS APO 115 F/7 Refractor, Canon 550D, ISO 1600, 28x20s, unguided.
