Details:
You really couldn't see the eclipse just looking at it; very slight darkening. Images were taken with a Canon 40D at 1/8000 sec. The color in the first two images was due to the atmosphere not the eclipse. The last image is after the eclipse ended for comparison. No it's not as exciting as the lunar eclipse coming up on April 15, 2014, but it's still fun to view and capture digitally.
