Details:
High-level cirrus ahead of an approaching cold front helped put on a nice display. The circumzenithal arc was well-defined and persistent, upper tangent arc and parhelic circle were very slightly visible, in addition to typical 22-degree arcs and parhelia. After nightfall, the "Hunter's Moon" full moon was bright enough to create parselene as well. Taken with a Nikon D7000, Nikkor 16-85 mm lens, B+W KSM MRC circular polarizer, Gitzo 3531 tripod, Arca-Swiss Z1 head.
