Details:
Although I made great great efforts to get to the Hunter Moon rise on October 18th 2013 as observed from Larch Mountain, about 20 miles to the northwest of Mount Hoods base, as I was runnng late on the highway, so I am submitting this image of the Harvest Moon Rise on July 21st, as the lighting from Larch Mountain that evening was spectacular.
