Details:
It took a while before the auroras showed up. But when they appeared far after midnight, the atmosphere was very nice. The water in the lake started to change into ice lining the shores of the lake . The moon was low above the horizon of the west bank. It became almost surrealistic when suddenly a flight of 8 whooper swans flew over from east to west in the direction of the moon, forming a tight V shape, trumpeting loudly and at the same time white illuminated by the moon light. An almost flurescent white against a black and starry sky...... Simultaneously the northern sky was full of rapidly moving faint thin auroras. You should have seen it yourself!
