Details:
Mars and Regulus were 1 degree apart on the morning of 15 October and as luck would have it, a line from Regulus through Mars extended for approximately the same distance again identified the location of comet C/2012 S1 ISON. All three nicely fitted within my Tak E-130 astrograph.
