Details:
(Here's a JPEG version of the receding PNG image that seemed to no upload corretly.) This is a combination of 15 images of 60s exposure each taken with a STXL-6303E and a 0.4m F4.4 Newtonian. Each image is separated by a 15s gap, hence the dotted line aspect. The telescope and camera were accessed remotely from Trois-Rivieres, roughly 30 km away. The first image was taken at 01:43:52 UT and the last at 02:01:00. JUNO was about 20 degrees above the horizon, and already 245 000 km away at the beginning of the observations. Its distance augmented by 12 300 km (roughly 1 Earth diameter!)in only 15 minutes. It seemed to be rotating and slowly fading. The image is a crop and is about 25 by 35 arcminutes; North is at top and East at left.
