The night after the peak of the Perseid Shower (morning of August 14th). Both the Northern Lights and a Perseid Fireball visible over Mackinac Island, Michigan. Taken from a private residence on the Lake Huron Shore about 2 miles south of Mackinaw City. Nikon D3, 50 1/4mm Lens, 1250 ISO, f/3.2, 13 sec exposure. 8/14/2013 1:07:40 AM
