Details:
Southern view of Borealis from from my location at 48 degrees. Very bright aurora last night that went through many changes. I thought some weather was moving in rapidly from the southwest, but the billowy clouds were glowing and moving in different directions. The only direction I could not get auroral color was to the extreme south and southeast. I could see glowing clouds facing south as low as 35 degrees in Aquarius. These shots were all at ISO 800, to the west, southwest, and south between 10:20 and 10:30 pm PDT on October 1st. One shot to the north at the same ISO. Incredible amount of light, exposures that weren't too bad in as little as 4 seconds at 3200. These are all 800 @ 16 seconds. From Keller, Washington
