Details:
I just returned today to Colorado from Alaska where I had taken a group of Colorado Mountain College students to view the aurora. We didn't see any while in Alaska, but the night after we get back, Mother Nature sends one our way. This is a 50-sec exposure with a Nikon D700 and a 16mm lens at ISO 3200 and f3.2.
