Details:
Tonight I went out to capture the Milky Way. It started out as expected but suddenly a faint aurora turned up. While I was finishing up the photos on the Milky Way the aurora grew stronger and I turned around to take some shots of it. Here's one panoramic shot showing the entire aurora like an eye with a small town in the middle. I wasn't expecting any aurora tonight, rather tomorrow. Tomorrow the weather looks even better, so lets hope the aurora activity kicks in big time.
