This was the scene at dawn on October 1 with the waning crescent Moon near Regulus (left of the Moon) and below Mars (the dot above the Moon) in a gathering in Leo. I shot this from my rural backyard in southern Alberta, Canada. This is a metered 2 second exposure with a 50mm lens and Canon 5D Mark II camera.
