Details:
Four days into a two week adventure around Iceland the skies above Egilsstadir remained clear to reveal the most wonderful Northern Lights display I've witnessed in four visits to the country. Three magical hours & 200 photos later, just after midnight, clouds rolled in blocking out the display, forcing me back to the car, but sending me to my sleeping bag & sleep with a big smile on my face. Photo Details: Nikon D7000. Lens: Tokina 11-16 F2.8 All photos taken at F2.8 ISO 1250, 4-15 seconds, on the night of 12th Sept 2013.
