Taken by Paulo Furches on September 28, 2013 @ Enka, North Carolina. Enka High Stadium, home side, on 45 yard line about 9 rows up. I was looking towards Mt. Pisgah, due south.

Details:
I was at the Land of the Sky Marching Band Festival in Enka North Carolina. It was 7:47 PM, just after sunset and I saw a bright object moving very fast. I was on the 45 yard line on the home side about 9 rows up looking directly south at Mt. Pisgah. I already had my Nikon D5200 out to take pictures of the bands and I managed to get one shot before it vanished behind the mountains and clouds. When I looked at it I saw what looked like a fire trail. When I zoomed I realized it was a meteor.
