Comet C/2012 S1 (ISON) was 2d from Mars this morning 2013/09/27 and is visible with Canon T1i dslr, 300mm f5.6, iso 3200, 30s exp at UT 11:24:11 with faint tail and nearby 10th mag. star in Leo. TheSkyX chart shows the field. Also close-up with Meade 10" LX-200 at f6.3, T4i, iso 6400, 30s exp. The view from Mars will be much better over the next week !
