Details:
Last night, I went to Skarsfjord on the island Ringvassøy hoping to catch some northern lights. Around midnight, a geomagnetic storm occurred over the northern part of the Norway creating magnificent aurora displays for nearly an hour. I took this picture at around 11 PM. The rock that you can see jutting out of the sea, was lit by a sweep of light from my headlamp. Captured 24.09.2013, Canon 5D Mk.III, Samyang 14mm, f/2.8, 4sec, ISO 2500
