Details:
2nd time I could observe Aurora. Previous was in the Netherlands october 31, 2003 Waiting for the predicted aurora. Around 6:50 UTC, Local Alberta Time 23:50 the sky turned suddenly green if one had turned a light on. The whole surrounding area was illuminated. View angle north above the horizon 30 to 45 degrees Aurora was green, also red, but fast turned to green. It was partly clouded. The fast changing curtains were reflecting in the clouds causing a blinking effect. It was amazing!
