Details:
PCCP image taken on August 24, 2026, with three astrometric measurements submitted to the MPC. Yesterday, in MPEC 2026-R102 (dated September 8, 2026), it was designated comet C/2026 P2 (PANSTARRS). The long exposure allowed me to see the faint tail. Tail measurements were submitted by Piero Sicoli.
