Looking NE from Eugene, OR, around 10:45 PM on August 30, 2026, I was puzzled to see this cloud-like streak in an otherwise clear sky. When I learned a bolide had been seen over OR and WA 2 hours earlier with a trajectory that matched what I saw, I suspected a meteor train.
