Details:
Partial Lunar Eclipse as seen from elevated viewing point overlooking the city of Norwich, England - and during a lucky brief period of clear sky after overnight rain.
First picture taken at very near maximum eclipse and before morning twilight, with the Moon positioned nearly directly above city hall and its clock tower. Just to the right (and closer to the camera) the spire of the Protestant cathedral. Towards the right of the frame the more distant Roman Catholic cathedral.
Final picture showing the Moon sinking into the haze and low lying cloud near the horizon as morning twilight begins.
All photographs as shot, unprocessed, with Nikon D810, 70-200mm f2.8.
