I was fortunate to capture an airplane crossing the eclipsed Sun shortly after totality in Valencia, Spain. The silhouette of human flight against this rare celestial alignment created a striking meeting of technology and space.
Details: Sony α7C with a Tamron 150–500mm F/5–6.7 Di III VC VXD lens at 478mm. Single RAW exposure at 1/320 second, f/6.3 and ISO 640.
Processed in Adobe Lightroom with cropping, tonal and colour adjustments, AI Denoise, sharpening, chromatic-aberration removal and lens-profile corrections. No compositing was used, and no elements were added, removed or repositioned.
