Details:
I saw that comet 220P/McNaught, which I thought I had no chance of seeing, had substantially brightened. So I took out my old Seestar S50 and tried to take an image. I was lucky enough to dodge any satellites for a decent exposure. Then I stayed out until predawn twilight and watched for Perseids of which there were several. All in all not too bad for a suburban lit neighborhood.
