Details:
Before wildfire dust come into my night sky, I turn my camera towards north to capture the night sky, despite the gibbous Moon still above the horizon in the beginning of the night.
After the Moon is set, the airglow display took the whole place and what a display: red and green airglow dancing in the sky in gravity waves.
First image is a look at the apex of the phenomenon, near 01:35 AM (local time, 23:35 AM UTC).
2nd image is a compilation of the visibility of the phenomenon toward the height of the Moon in the sky that night.
3rd image is a stack of 4 images, taking, for each pixel, the minimum in luminosity: it makes the pattern of the airglow appearing more clearly.
4rth image is an animation, using previous technique (minimum of each pixel) in order to have a view on the dynamic of this airglow dancing.
All of this taken from my roof window, with the camera strap stuck into the frame of the window, in order to maintain it, with a Canon EOS 6D unfiltered (MC-Clear glass on sensor), Sigma 14mm f/1,8 lens, 15 seconds, @ISO1600.
