Details:
This Chinese Rocket Body ZHUQUE 2E was in low earth orbit and therefore was seen traveling a little faster than other orbiting objects like the ISS and the Hubble Space Telescope. At first I thought it was an earthgrazer meteor but the local astronomy club helped me find the true culprit. In the stacked image you will notice some bright spots along the path which seems to indicate that this rocket body was tumbling. I came really close to capturing its entire path across the sky. This was recorded from Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico facing west on July 20 2026 at 5:24am (9:24 UTC).
