Details:
There were northern lights, green and red, in the north, occasionally reaching to almost overhead. But for a few minutes, there was a ribbon of light across the sky overhead. I took photos looking south that showed it too. In person it appeared pale without a strong color, though in the photo it is a bit purplish. A photographer on Facebook posted a really great photo of it, showing more of the length and color. I have photos of it from 10:21 to 10:24 PST. It may have lasted a few minutes longer. It's the first time I'm aware of seeing STEVE.
