Details:
The aurora as seen over Pine Valley Mountain north of St. George, Utah. The Big Dipper is above to the left (not in the aurora) and Cassiopeia is lower to the right (which is), with Polaris near the center. Its vertical extent is ~25°. There appears to be a faint pillar or curtain directly underneath the airplane trail.
