This year's noctilucent cloud season hasn't exactly been full of impressive displays. Increased solar activity is certainly a factor. Despite this, I'm constantly tracking even the smallest glimpses of these mesospheric clouds. Europe is currently experiencing unusually high temperatures, so the mesosphere should be cooler, which should favor the appearance of noctilucent clouds.
