Details:
Tonight’s conjunction is set against a beautiful deep blue sky background containing a 13% illuminated Moon, while subtle Earthshine enhances the normally shadowed lunar surface areas tonight.
Trailing down from the Moon is brilliant planet Venus, followed by Jupiter, and a normally illusive planet Mercury, usually too close to the Sun to safely observe, completing the line. The colorful deep sky background visually enhances this very pleasing twilight scene.
Camera: iPhone 15 Pro Max, f/1.78, 1/2 second exposure. Editing: Cropping and resizing only.
