Details:
Well, not quite yet; images taken at 1800 GMT, a couple of hours before the occultation starts. I had one of my camera bodies converted to IR a couple of years ago, and thought I'd try to collect a couple of images this afternoon whilst the sky was clear (it'll probably be cloudy later). The one here is using a 680 nm bandpass filter on a 300 mm lens, Olympus OM-1. I've also created a black/white image using just the blue layer in the RGN. They come out a bit clearer than a normal RGB image. One day I might get round to pointing this setup at a dark sky...
