Details:
A stunning celestial display painted the twilight sky above Pedara (Catania, Italy), on the slopes of Mount Etna. Captured at 19:17 UT, this wide-field image showcases a beautiful astronomical configuration featuring a slender crescent Moon and three planets. The young Moon shines low near the horizon, closely accompanied by elusive Mercury. Higher up in the crisp evening sky, brilliant Venus dominates the view, with the gas giant Jupiter positioned perfectly in between. Adding to the astronomical scene, the twin stars Castor and Pollux in the constellation Gemini are also clearly visible.
