Details:
An incredibly favourable pass of the Tiangong Space Station against the Sun earlier today with the station being only 400 km away (9.29 arc-sec apparent diameter) and the overhead Sun at 72 degrees. Although there was some disturbing atmospheric turbulence an hour before the transit itself, things finally did settle down and which permitted for a beautiful capture. Apologies for the gaps in the sequence and which had to do with buffer overflows in the webcam hardware. Further details in relation to this result are available on my website at https://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Sat-Trans-2026-06-15.htm . The satellite was moving from right to left and the transit lasted a "whopping" 0.46 seconds.
