Details:
Fri evening, I was out taking some photos of the Venus/Jupiter close encounter. I saw a jet coming so I tried to get it on a photo with the planets. This is the best one I got. This plane was an Airbus A350 flying at 41,000'. It was from the Germany Air Force. It had taken off from Mexico City about 3.5 hours before and had over 7 more hours to go to Berlin. This flight would have taken off in the afternoon and would be landing Sat morning when the sun was long up. I think it is possible that from this plane you could have seen light in the north sky all the flight. Not too often you get a photo of a plane flying right over a planet but rarer still to have it be a German Air Force plane. Photo info is in the file. It was taken with an old iPhone 7.
