Details:
In the evening on Wednesday 3rd June, Mercury was visible below the approaching conjunction between Venus and Jupiter for the first time from my location on Murambi Heights in Mutare. Since Mercury started to move away from the Sun in late May it has been concealed by Transmitter Hill. Mercury and Venus are currently rising towards Jupiter above the sunset horizon for the eventual close conjunction between Venus and Jupiter on June 8th and 9th. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset and manual exposure modes.
