Details:
I was able to find the meteor explosion using the Group Energy Density layer and the Day Fire layer in the GOES-19 slider app. The event occurred on May 30 2026 at approx 2pm EST (18 UTC) just east of Massachusetts. I also noticed that the explosion occurred just north of the dense clouds that was producing some lightning clusters associated with the storm. Could the two small white dots seen below the main explosion be fragments? GOES-19 animation can be seen here: https://youtu.be/xhUDKaQxebE?si=I_OaST1RKxUx5hgX
