I caught the end of the giant solar flare in AR4419 in the morning hours. I sat quitely reading the magazine Ciel et Espace when the eruption was announced by a Spaceweather sms. This is just a quick preliminary shot of the humongous flare. Wow! 90mm WO, Daystar Quark C, ASI183MM.
