Details:
Comet C/2025 R3 (PANSTARRS) reached perihelion in its orbit on April 19 and will be nearest Earth on April 26, 45 million miles from Earth, but won't be visible from Earth because it will be between the Sun ad Earth, lost in the Sun's glare. These images show the comet from April 19 to April 21, in brightening morning twilight each morning as the comet moves between the Sun and Earth. The comet was magnitude 4.6 on April 20. Clouds were a problem on these several mornings. The comet will reappear in the evening sky in early May. Click on the large images to get the best resolution image.
