Details:
This morning's shooting session on Comet Panstarrs R3 in Pegasus went pretty well, lots of dust and pollen suspended in the air made for a yellowing and diming of low altitude targets such as this. Here is a two part mosaic with the RASA8, 20 minutes per panel. the field is 6 degrees wide and so this comet has developed a really nice tail! I might add that I rotated the camera about 15 degrees so the tail was along the frame edges making assembling the mosaic far easier. RASA8, ASI2600MC, Payson.
