Details:
On 2026/04/04 between 08:04 & 10:20 UT, I imaged the Artemis II spacecraft in Scorpius on its way toward the Moon. The upper panel of the image shows the exposures registered on the stars, very faintly showing Artemis II moving in an arc on the left. The short trail of the main-belt asteroid 1013 Tombecka (V=14.7) is visible on the right. The lower panel shows the same exposures registered on Artemis II. The spacecraft’s image is slightly elongated due to its motion during the exposures. Details: Celestron 925 EdgeHD telescope, Hyperstar f/2.2 optic, Optolong UV/IR Cut filter, ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera, 238 30-s exposures.
